How to choose a CNC toolholder?

CNC toolholder selection depends on the process requirements,
the size of the toolholder and the surface size of the workpiece to be machined to adapt.
Different machining methods use different CNC toolholder,
according to the machine tool's machining capacity,
the performance of the workpiece material, machining process,
cutting amount and other relevant factors to correctly select the CNC toolholder.

Toolholder selection principle is: good rigidity, durability and high precision.
Under the premise of meeting the processing requirements, try to choose a shorter shank,
in order to improve the rigidity of CNC toolholder processing.
In production, the processing of the peripheral contour of the plane parts, often using end mills;
milling plane, should be selected carbide insert milling cutter shanks used; processing of cams, grooves,
selected high-speed steel end mills; processing of blank surfaces or roughing holes,
can be selected with carbide insert corn milling cutter;
for some three-dimensional profile and variable bevel profile shape of the machining,
often using a ball milling cutter, annular cutter, tapered milling cutter and disk shanks used.
The shank of the cutter is used for ball end milling cutter,
ring milling cutter, taper milling cutter and disk milling cutter.
